Paris [2]

One week in the cobbled streets of Montmartre to celebrate the 21st Birthday of one of my dearest friends. We laughed so much our stomaches hurt and tears were running down our cheeks, explored the Parisian promenades and drank wine by the Seine whilst strangers salsa'd the night away. Yet, the dawn of a new era was lingering upon us.

Three out of five of us had just graduated from University and two were turning 21 that weekend. With all of us moving to London from September of this year, we certainly felt that this trip was the start of something new. The birthday girl brought us all together for this special occasion and I can't thank you enough for that Clare.

On the day of her 21st, I prepared a surprise Birthday dinner at the flat with a cake and a glass of champagne. Cooking with fresh French food was a real joy and the difference in taste was phenomenal. I made a selection of bruschetta, chopped up some cheeses and chorizo from the local fromagerie around the corner and our cake from a bakery nearby called Pain Pain who were awarded the best bakery in 2014.
